#EnstoaSpark – How We Ignited 2016

Enstoa is truly a people first company. At the start of each year, we gather all of our team members from around the world for our annual Spark session, 3 days of off-site meetings, interactive sessions, team building activities and events. We reflect on successes and lessons learned of the prior year, and socialize the strategy for the year ahead.

This year, special guest, Prof. Paul Ingram of Columbia Business School, facilitated a powerful session on how the alignment or fit of an individual’s values with the corporate culture has a direct effect on one’s performance. Each Enstoan created his/her individual value hierarchy and then we broke into small groups to share, refine and defend them.

Collectively, we found that having to articulate our values with our teammates greatly strengthens our relationships & maximizes our productivity as a team. As the leading systems integrator in capital projects, team synergy and diversity is critical to Enstoa’s success.

Spark 2016 went down in true Enstoa fashion, sprinkled with a little fun along the way. From a tour of Casa Bacardí, to a salsa dancing lessons, and a hike through El Yunque National Forest, we took some time outside of the formal sessions to solidify our strong relationships and to reflect on the day’s sessions. Everyone left energized to tackle the projects we have coming up.

Needless to say, Enstoa’s mojo is soaring and we are ready to crush it in 2016!
